When did John Daly win his last major championship?
Daly won his second and the last major championship at the 1995 Open Championship. He won the event at St. Andrews, the home of golf. Moreover, he ended the event with an overall score of six-under-par, 288. As a result, the major championship event was extended to a sudden-death playoff.
On Sunday, the old course witnessed an epic two-person playoff between Daly and Costantino Rocca, the Italian professional. However, long john ended the four-playoff holes with an overall score of one-under-par in the end. On the other hand, Rocco finished with an overall score of three over par.
