Twitter user brings up infamous Michael Jordan movie
Michael Jordan has had one of the best careers in the NBA and has achieved greatness in a similar style elsewhere. His ‘Jordan’ brand has helped him achieve success in the business field while ‘The Last Dance’ and ‘Space Jam’ immortalized him in the world of entertainment.
However, a Twitter user has dug into the past and brought up something very embarrassing. It seems ‘The Last Dance’ isn’t the only documentary about MJ and the Chicago Bulls. A movie starring convicted actor Michael Jace hit the theatres in 1999 titled ‘Michael Jordan: An American Hero’ and received backlash from the audience.

The film left the fans enraged as it missed out on important details pertaining to Jordan’s life. In one such instance, Jordan, played by Michael Jace, was seen wearing Jordan 14’s as a rookie!

If this embarrassment on the big screen wasn’t enough, the lead actor got himself into legal trouble. Jace is serving 40 years in prison after his arrest in 2014 for the murder of his wife. (Source: latimes.com)
The film has a terrible rating of 4.4 out of 10 on the popular movie review and rating site IMDb. The fans accused the film of lacking character development and having a simplistic approach. Moreover, a certain section of fans have even called the film out for tampering with some facts, especially the scenes involving MJ in the UNC Tar Heels.
