It appears that drama has always been part of the life of reigning league MVP and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has been enduring a turbulent time in recent weeks, but the root of his problems or issues stems from years prior. Being the second eldest among the three Rodgers siblings, he has been a recipient of criticism by certain members of his own family.
Among these critics has been his younger brother and a former reality TV star, Jordan Rodgers. During his appearance on the Season 12 of The Bachelorette, Jordan uses his spotlight to reveal deeply personal issues between the Packers QB and his parents. Though Jordan wanted to express his feelings, public expression on national TV might not have been the best option.
While talking to his now-wife Jo Jo Fletcher on the show, Jordan states, “Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship. It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life, and I’ve chosen to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother… I love him, and I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has, the demands from people that he has.”
Aaron Rodgers always seems to be on the wrong side of outcomes
Despite all the troubles and failed relationships in the past, the Packers QB was able to find someone to hold on to in actress Shailene Woodley in 2021. Both Woodley and Rodgers were also in an engagement with each other and getting ready for a future together, but things worsened. The pair split in February this year and were not able to reconcile certain differences between each other.
The professional lives of both Rodgers and Woodley were not compatible, and the actress was also refusing to move to Wisconsin.
While they gave it time to develop and mature, the pair seems to have become clearer about their futures apart from each other.
The Packers fans have not seen any major effects of Rodgers’ personal life affecting his footballing career. With the fast-approaching 2022 NFL campaign, the fans will hope that they once again receive the best version of the former Super Bowl champion.
