The 2022 U.S. Open is currently underway in the Country Club in Brookline. Prominent names from the golfing world are on the field, and we are all set for an exciting golfing week. Meanwhile, one of the earliest starters on day one was Rory McIlroy. He is also one of the favorites to lift the trophy this week. 

However, more than his golf, Rory’s outfit on day one was the one receiving attention. He is seen wearing a conspicuous shirt that has a flower print all over it. Conditions at the 2022 U.S. Open

The 2022 U.S. Open is underway, and the only word to describe the course conditions is brutal. The setup of the golf course is daunting, and it is penalizing golfers for minute mistakes. The roughs are deep and thick, and reaching the green from the rough can get strenuous on a few holes. 

Furthermore, there is no escaping from roughs around the green as well. It becomes crucial for golfers to stay on the fairway as much as possible. Additionally, this is how we usually see the U.S. Open course set up, where players need to be at the top of their game with the driver, irons, wedges, and putter.

Golfers with a well-combined game will have a chance of winning the trophy this week. Meanwhile, three golfers, Collin Morikawa, Matthew NeSmith, and Russell Henley, are leading the tournament with a score of -2.
