Conor McGregor is one of the most well-known fighters in UFC history. He is arguably the most entertaining fighter in and out of the octagon. The Irishman has even secured belts in two different weight classes and cemented his name next to the greatest UFC athletes. Recently, his old rival, Floyd Mayweather, reportedly offered him a hefty sum for a boxing rematch.

According to “The Sun,” Mayweather wants a boxing rematch with McGregor. Since their last fight was such a hit, Mayweather reportedly offered the Irishman $157 million for this rematch. A source from Mayweather’s camp allegedly contacted SunSport.

SunSport wrote, “Mayweather Promotions made Conor an offer of 150million euros ($157m) for the fight. Floyd has been training like he is thirty again – he is in really good shape. He’s telling people he wants to fight Connor because he considers it ‘easy work for easy money.'”

The first bout between the two superstars was a massive success.

This fight had a lot of hype behind it and delivered as it broke multiple pay-per-view (PPV) records. Even though McGregor had no prior professional boxing experience, he put on a stunning show for the fans.

McGregor performed well in the opening rounds, even taking a few rounds from Mayweather. But as the fight continued, Mayweather gained momentum and dominated McGregor in the closing rounds. McGregor looked gassed out in these closing rounds. Finally, in round 10, Mayweather’s pressure was too much for McGregor to handle, and he won the bout via TKO.
