Jesus scores, Arsenal's unbeaten journey continues

Gabriel Jesus has struggled to adapt to Pep Guardiola's tactics at Manchester City, he said yesterday. After joining Arsenal, he can play freely, he feels like a free spirit.

His game at Arsenal also has this impression. The 'free-spirited' Brazilian striker has been scoring goals at Arsenal since the start. Jesus still scored today. It was his fifth goal in the eighth match. Arsenal also seem to be flying this season by buying some other good and effective players including Jesus. Their unbeaten run in the Premier League continues. Mikel Arteta's side beat Tottenham 3-1 in the North London derby yesterday.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka scored today with Jesus to win Arsenal. Arsenal took control of the match from the start in their own field. They also made the first three attacks of the match. Tottenham made their first attack on 13 minutes. But that attack could not create any danger in Arsenal's defence.

After that one attack, Tottenham fell asleep again. Taking advantage of this, Jesus-Xhaka-Gabriel Martinelli continued to create pressure on Tottenham's defense. They get the results quickly. Party gave the team the lead in 19 minutes. Xhaka passes the party just outside the box. From there, Party beat the French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with a great bullet speed shot.

Arsenal, however, could not hold the lead for long. Brazilian forward Richarlison gets the ball into the box from a counter-attack. But he could not control the ball. He was fouled while advancing towards goal with the ball in the box. Harry Kane equalized Tottenham by scoring from the penalty spot in the 31st minute. The two teams went into the break tied.

Returning from the break, Jesus-Xakara matched the attack in Tottenham's defense as before. He quickly got the second goal. In the 49th minute, Bucayo Soccer's shot was somehow cleared by Lloris. The ball fell at the feet of Tottenham Hotspur. He could not clear the ball properly. Jesus flicked first right, then left foot into the net as Lloris dived under his body towards the post. Arsenal lead 2-1.

Emerson Royal of Tottenham saw a direct red card for fouling Martinelli in the 62nd minute. By becoming a team of 10, Tottenham should be more compact. Taking advantage of this, Xhaka made it 3-1 after 5 minutes. In the end, Arsenal left the field winning with this difference.

Arsenal are at the top of the list with 21 points in 8 matches and 7 wins in this win. Tottenham is in third place with 17 points in the match. Second placed Manchester City also has 17 points.
